Frequently Asked Questions
What ages are welcome?
All children are welcome whatever their age, the age range is simply advisory.
The concerts are designed for adults, children and babies to enjoy together, and we focus on the 0-7 range. We've played to 2 week old babies and older children as well, and there are concert themed colouring in sheets, competitions and quizzes to engage every age along with the music.
Do I pay for my baby?
Yes, all children under 18 pay regardless of their age. Adults are free.
My baby/child is noisy and active, will they really be welcome?
Definitely! Children love to move about and sing along with the music.
If a full on screaming fit happens though, please do take your child out and come back in when you're ready so that the concert is not too disrupted for everyone else.
We do also ask the adults to sit and listen quietly to set a good example to the little ones.
Can I bring the buggy/pram/pushchair into the hall?
You will need to leave your buggy in the outer room, so please keep your valuables with you.
How long do the concerts last?
Concerts last around 45-50 minutes and we recommend you arrive a little early to find a seat & settle down. The doors open 30 minutes before the concert start time.
Can I pay by card on the door?
No, unfortunately we can't accept cards or cheques so please do bring the money for the tickets with you.
Must I reserve my ticket in advance?
We strongly advise that you do reserve your tickets in advance as the spaces in which the Musical Adventures happen all have restricted capacity.
We are happy to accept children who have not reserved in advance if we are not fully booked.
For pay on the day Adventures, if all of the reserved children have not arrived 5 minutes before the performance is due to start we will then reallocate their spaces to any other children who need them.
For pay in advance Adventures, we will only accept unreserved children if we have space.
